Set in the heart of Angus County near the stunning Lunan Bay, guests can experience world-class food in a beautiful location. Gordon’s is one of Scotland’s best fine dining venues in Scotland but it’s also a hard-working family business. Established over 30 years ago by former Master Chef of Great Britain, the late Gordon Watson and his wife, Maria, Gordon’s quickly became popular among locals. However, word soon spread that this was somewhere a little bit special, and guests now travel from all over to dine here.

Today, the restaurant is run by Gordon and Maria’s son, Garry Watson, an award-winning chef whose outstanding culinary skills and artistic flair have grown the restaurant’s reputation as one of Scotland’s top places to eat – Scottish hospitality at its very best.

It's still a family concern with Garry Watson alone in the kitchen and Maria handling the service with aplomb. There’s a modern feel to the technically accomplished cooking.
