Our Story

There’s no cast of thousands behind the scenes at Gordon’s. It’s a real family affair with chef Garry taking centre stage in his beloved kitchen while Mum, Maria, runs a slick front of house operation where you can be sure of a warm welcome.

We take great pride in Gordon’s and the restaurant is deeply rooted in our Scottish heritage. Being a family business we have a strong work ethic, core values, and our passion is to deliver top-drawer hospitality to everyone who comes through the door. We do what we do because we love it and we’re proud to be putting Gordon’s on the culinary world map!

Chef Garry Watson

Having trained alongside top chefs in some of the most prestigious MICHELIN-

starred restaurants, these influences gave him the knowledge and creative flair that
is so evident in his dishes today.

Garry has several accolades to his name, and his career has been well documented
in local, regional, and national press.

His most recent achievement was the Fellowship Award by the
Master Chefs of Great Britain. The fellowship award goes to those who consistently demonstrate their craft to the highest level.
